Please Donate – Here’s Why We Need Your Help

Our funds are spent locally to mobilize and educate voters and to provide services to elect Democratic candidates in local, state, and national elections.

We have had a burst of activism which has brought many, many more eager people into our door wanting to work to bring change in Arizona and the Nation. This is wonderful; however, in order to put these people to work effectively, we need larger meeting space, more employee hours, funds to pay fees for outreach events, and more water, coffee, and snacks. Our printing costs (though we try to minimize paper use) have grown. We’ve taken on the expense of a better copier (which we share with candidates). We dream of doing issue advertising as we race to the wire on Election Day 2018, fighting against dark money. And, to plan effectively, we need to know we can count on a steady stream of contributions right up through Election Day.

That is why we ask you to become a Monthly Donor. Your contributions don’t need to be large — though the larger the better, of course. What does turning Arizona blue mean to you and to your family’s future? Arizona education must improve if the state’s economy is to improve. On the national level, let’s make Arizona a force in the Democratic Caucus and a swing-state in 2020’s Presidential race. Contribute with those thoughts in mind.

Do you have a little extra cash this month? Please consider making a one-time contribution.

Make a sustaining donation of any amount. Sign up and we’ll charge your credit card each month. Knowing that we can count on a predictable cash flow each month allows us to plan our organizing activities most effectively. Thank you!

We recognize these donors for large donations made in the 2018 Election Cycle.

Each donation you make strengthens the Coconino County Democratic Party’s ability to get out the vote in support Democratic candidates. We do not pay any fees to the state or national party organizations (in fact, they sometimes help us out). We hold one major fundraising dinner in March of each year, the Roosevelt-Kennedy Dinner, which this year raised enough to pay our rent and for our part-time employee through 2017. We need your help to do more.

Your online donation will route through ActBlue, a secure fundraising technology site run by a non-profit for the benefit of the left. Taking donations in this way simplifies the work we must do to meet our statutory reporting requirements.

If you prefer to make your contribution by check, you can mail it to CCDP at POB 701, Flagstaff, AZ 86002. Please include your name, address, occupation, and the name of your employer in your communication.

Note: Your donations are political contributions and not tax deductible. Feel free to direct any questions or comments to Sallie Kladnik, Vice-Chair in charge of fundraising activities, at
