20th Annual Roosevelt-Kennedy Fundraiser
March 28 @ 5:30 pm - April 7 @ 5:00 pm
For 20 years, the Roosevelt-Kennedy Dinner has supported the operations of the Coconino County Democratic Party. Our primary concern is the health and well-being of our donors and volunteers. We have postponed the dinner to September 26 when we hope everyone will be able to use the tickets they have purchased. Please realize that the major portion of your ticket purchase is a donation that is vital to the continuing operations of the party. Our world is changed by the pandemic but one thing has not changed: We are facing the most important election of our lifetime and the County Party’s efforts continue to play a vital role.
While we wait for the opportunity to celebrate our efforts together in person, we have collected an AMAZING group of auction items. So we have good news: We will be running the auction online starting Saturday, March 28 at 5:30 pm and running through April 7 at 5 pm. We have collected over 80 fabulous auction donations — please participate in the auction as a way of supporting our continuing work. You can begin to shop through our auction site now so that you are prepared to bid starting Saturday evening.
We’re also excited to announce that the speakers who had been scheduled for our dinner have agreed to appear at our Virtual Auction Kickoff Event on Saturday, March 28, at 5:30 pm. You and your friends can mix your cocktails at home and join us on Zoom to listen in and then move right over to the auction site to begin the bidding competition! Looking forward to seeing you Saturday night along with Jamescita Peshlakai, Felicia French, Coral Evans, Sarah Benatar, Eva Putzova. Tom O’Halleran is going to prerecord something for the event.
Thank you for your patience and your on-going support. The coronavirus is going to change the way we campaign, but we will continue to work to win this election. Please consider making an additional donation at this time to get our organization through and help us get voters to the polls.
