Democrats of the Red Rocks Breakfast

The Democrats of the Red Rocks will host AZ State Legislature Candidates Felicia French and Coral Evans at its breakfast meeting on Thursday, June 20, at Olde Sedona Family Restaurant, 1405 W SR 89A. The meeting starts at 8AM.
Felicia French is a retired U.S. Army Colonel who served as a medical evacuation pilot. She narrowly missed winning a seat in the AZ house last year, coming behind the second place candidate by just 577 votes in a four-way race for two seats. She is currently running for the State Senate seat in the same Legislative District Six. Col. French is a registered nurse and educator with master degrees in both management and sustainable solutions.
Coral Evans is the current Mayor of Flagstaff, having first been elected in 2008 as a Councilmember. She became mayor in 2016 and was re-elected in 2018. She is also the Executive Director of the Sunnyside Neighborhood Association in Flagstaff, a non-profit that focuses on community redevelopment. She holds a master certificate in public management and a BA in business management.
Legislative District Six includes Sedona and the Verde Valley. The district spreads from Snowflake and Payson on the east to beyond Tonto Basin to the south, west beyond Williams, and north to Tusayan.
Also on the program will be Lindsay Coleman, Executive Director of of Arizona List, a statewide organization that offers training and support for Democratic women candidates.
DORR is an all-volunteer Democratic Club for Sedona, the Village of Oak Creek, the Verde Valley, and surrounding communities, that welcomes all independent-minded community members. DORR recently moved to new offices space at 105 Roadrunner Drive, Suite 2A, in West Sedona. The office is open from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM weekdays and offers services like voter registration, information on elected officials, candidates, and issues and how residents can engage in politics and government from the local to the national level. Walk-ins are welcome.
DORR hosts a monthly breakfast series the third Thursday of each month, presenting a different program each time. All breakfasts are open to the public. There is a $15 fee to cover the cost of breakfast.
