DORR breakfast with Congressman O’Halleran , LD6 Candidates Carlisle, Tyler, and French, and Harriet Young

TO SPEAK AT DORR BREAKFAST
Congressman Tom O’Halleran, (CD1), Wade Carlisle, candidate for Arizona State Senate, (LD6) and Arizona House of Representative (LD6) Candidates Bobby Tyler and Felicia French, will be featured speakers at the Democrats of the Red Rocks monthly breakfast on Thursday August 16. The breakfast will be held at Olde Sedona Family Restaurant, 1405 W SR 89A, starting at 8AM.
Congressman O’Halloran has represented Arizona’s First Congressional District since 2016 and faces re-election in the current election cycle. Prior to his election to Congress, he served three consecutive terms as a State Representative, followed by a term as a State Senator.
Wade Carlisle is seeking to unseat incumbent State Senator Sylvia Allen in November. Mr. Carlisle recently resigned as the Vice-Mayor of Holbrook, to concentrate on the Senate campaign. He has served on the Holbrook Council for thirteen years. He works for the railroad and is a substitute teacher.
Bobby Tyler, the current Mayor of Holbrook, is seeking one of the two Legislative District Six Representative seats up for election. Mr. Tyler is a third generation Arizonan who has spent over 33 years working in the power industry.
Retired Army Colonel Felicia French served as a medical evacuation pilot and is a registered nurse and educator with master’s degrees in both management and sustainable solutions. She is a resident of Pine, and is seeking a seat as a Legislative District Six Representative.
Also on the program is Harriet Young, Vice Chair of the Coconino County Democrats. Ms. Young is a retired professor of Northern Arizona University’s Political Science Department and is know as an engaging speaker on political analysis.
The speakers will appear as part of DORR’s critical issues breakfast series, held on the third Thursday of the month. The organization presents a different program each month. All breakfasts are open to the public. There is a $12 fee to cover the cost of breakfast.
DORR is an all-volunteer Democratic Club for Sedona, the Village of Oak Creek, the Verde Valley, and surrounding communities, that welcomes all independent-minded community members. The DORR office is located at 1385 Route 89A (next to Olde Sedona) and is open weekdays from 10 AM – 12 PM and 2 PM – 4 PM.
