DORR Monthly Breakfast: “Taking Voter Registration to the Next Level–Inspirational Stories”

The Democrats of the Red Rocks (DORR) Breakfast at Home will host “Taking Voter Registration to the Next Level–Inspirational Stories” with Mary Darling, Director of Party Affairs with the Arizona Democratic Party, and Tara Benally, Field Director with the Rural Utah/Arizona Project, on Thursday, September 23rd at 10:00 am on zoom. Mary Daring, Director of Party Affairs with the Arizona Democratic Party and Chair of the Santa Cruz County Democrats, works on voter registration from Nogales, AZ.  With a background in hotel & spa management, Mary brings a personal passion to voter registration.  She works locally while maintaining a statewide and national focus, and is committed to ensuring our voices are heard at the ballot box in every election and at every level.

Tara Benally, Field Director with the Rural Utah/Arizona Project, brings a long history of advocacy on the Navajo Nation around issues of health care, education, and economic development. With a background in building construction and previous work with the Utah Navajo Trust Fund. Tara will share how people in remote areas of the Navajo Nation cast votes for the first time, and made a critical difference in the outcome of Arizona’s 2020 election
