Monthly PC Meeting

We’re shaking things up a bit this month: The Monthly PC Meeting we will be hosting a canvass on August 12th at 10am. The goal of this canvass will be to make contact with potential PCs in under-represented precincts, and to get more comfortable knocking on doors! We will meet at HQ where we will go over the basics of canvassing, talk about goals, and discuss how to use the miniVAN app. Then we will go out in pairs or teams to hit the ground running! When we’re done knocking on doors, we’ll return to HQ to talk about how things went and eat lunch (sandwiches, chips, and soda provided by us!). Whether you’re brand new or an old hat, we really encourage everyone to come! If you are unable to knock on doors, we will be doing a phonebank as well! Please make sure to bring a cell phone and a laptop or tablet if you are doing phones instead of door knocking!
It’s very important we get as accurate a number of participants as possible, so please RSVP by Thursday 8/10 here. 
Please wear good walking shoes, sunscreen, bring water, and don’t forget to wear your PC Badge! To save us some time prior to Saturday, if you have a smartphone go to your App Store and download the miniVAN touch application. Once it has downloaded, open the app and press “Create ActionID”. This will be your login going forward, and we will walk you through how to use the app on Saturday. If you already have the app,  that’s great!
