We are excited to host TAGG trainers at our Monthly Coconino Democrats Meeting on May 11th, 10 - 1pm. The Arizona Ground Game is a Tucson-based activist organization which has redefined traditional campaign canvassing. Their mission is to encourage active citizenship through neighborhood building and public policy education. They provide a 3-hour training on their approach to engaging voters on issues while at the same time building a neighborhood network. Kevin Gibson of No Fracking AZ will present on protecting Arizona's water, including Flagstaff's future water source at Red Gap Ranch. No Fracking AZ is a local (Navajo/Apache counties), grassroots effort aimed at halting the development of hydraulic fracturing (fracking) operations in Northern Arizona.
