City of Flagstaff Sign-Free Zones

The City of Flagstaff Sign Code prohibits political (and other) signs in many places candidates might like to post them. If they are placed in the wrong spot, the city will remove them. If you think any sign is in violation, the person to contact is Reggie Eccleston, Code Enforcement Manager:

928-213-2147

Also, there are limits on the amount of space signs can take up on residential and commercial properties.

The Sign Free Zone map depicts streets where the City may remove portable signs placed within the public right-of-way. The Sign Free Zone is limited to the public rights-of-way. Private property owners may place signs on their own property or give others permission to do so subject to the space limitations of the Sign Code. Commercial properties may have up to 24 square feet of portable signage and residential properties may have up to 16 square feet of portable signage.
