Yesterday, resistance groups across the country opened the day thinking we had a fight to get the Tax Bill into conference (to avoid having the House simply pass the Senate bill and send it to Trump for signature). It turns out that the Senate passed their bill in such haste that they made a mistake with the Alternative Minimum Tax. The Chamber of Commerce was furious. But, the Republicans had no choice but to put the bills into conference if only to correct the Senate mistake.
Meanwhile, protestors across the country have taken to the streets to protest the tax bill.
