Friday, October 28, is the last day to request an early ballot to be mailed to you for the November 8 General Election. Do so no later than 5 pm!
Voters on the Active Early Voting List (AEVL) should have already received their early ballot by mail. If not, you should call the Recorder’s Office.
To request a ballot be mailed to you, voters may call the Recorder’s Office at 928-679-7860 or toll-free at 800-793-6181.
- Voters may also request an early ballot online at www.coconino.az.gov/elections and where they should click on “Early Ballot Request.”
Mail your ballot back no later than November 1! After November 1, use an official drop box or early voting location to return your ballot — or take it to a voting location on Election Day. (Please don’t wait until Election Day to return your ballot; doing so slows down the vote tabulation process.)
If you choose to vote early in person instead of using your ballot by mail, you’ll need to present identification when you vote. If you use the ballot by mail, your identification is verified by comparing the signature you put on the ballot envelope with the signature on file with the County Recorder as part of your voter registration.
In-person early voting is available on weekdays through November 4 at numerous locations around the county and on tribal lands. Also, this Saturday, October 29, early voting is available at:
- Eastside Recorder’s Office, Flagstaff Mall (located next to Planet Fitness), 11 am to 5 pm
- Downtown Flagstaff Recorder’s Office, 110 E Cherry Ave, Flagstaff, 11 am to 5 pm
- Tuba City Recorder/Elections office, Main Street, Tuba City (located behind the Tuba City Library), 8 am to noon (DST)
In-person early voting will not be available after 5 pm on November 4. Voters who want to vote in person after that will need to do so on Election Day between 6 am and 7 pm unless they have an emergency. For emergency voting during that last weekend, contact the County Recorder.
