Overall, it's good news. But we must remain vigilant and keep working hard: coconinodemocrats.org/good-news-covid-bill-advances-without-destructive-gop-amendments/2021/03/06/ ... See MoreSee Less
We agree. And, you Recorder Hansen, do the same. We appreciate you both. ... See MoreSee Less
Kelly votes "Yes" and Sinema votes "No" on adding minimum wage to reconciliation bill. ... See MoreSee Less
Gotta primary Sinema, she's no democrat.
Sinema has got to go.... You don't speak for us in Arizona.
For someone who says she experienced homelessness growing up, she sure doesn't vote like someone who supports low income families. If she doesn't want it in the relief plan then she should propose a bill to increase minimum wage.
Sinema's support for the filibuster will end up sinking the sorts of voting rights protections that keep Democrats competitive in AZ. She's probably going to lose her own seat to a Republican after the State Legislature passes a bunch of voter-suppression laws. I could forgive her for being a little to the right of the Democratic Party in her state if she weren't so horrendously bad at politics.
Expected this from Sinema. Happy that Kelly did not follow her lead and is recognizing our voices on this issue.
I used to think Sinema was more progressive than that.
Vote HER OUT. Eva for Senate
Sinema is a DINO.
This is bad, but if she sinks the voting rights bill to save her precious filibuster I’ll be done with her.
And Sinema brought chocolate cake for everyone just before voting down the $15 minimum wage... a modern-day Marie Antoinette.
Shes a biatch!
Sienna is a closet,”R”
Whaaaat?!!!
We need another candidate to vote for.
Sinema needs to go. She should be ashamed.
Someone needs to have a chat with Sinema. O’Halleran?😒
Many of us worked to put her in office..now she's an embarrassment. She has forgotten which party she represents. Bravo to Kelly.
I wonder who is filling her pockets with contributions? This show of working with both sides appears to be a scam. She certainly isn’t working with the Democrats and she certainly isn’t working for the struggling citizens of Arizona. She won’t get my vote again.
One for the history books. The battle continues but this is how the lines were drawn -- science and true leadership vs. political judgments that led to more deaths.

Not a single Republican senator voted for the COVID relief bill. Not one.
That should tell you all you need to know.
Call Winslow to verify but we know some who have gotten shots there.

Congratulations @SecretaryPete, the first openly gay Cabinet member to be Senate confirmed!
Pete is committed to ensuring safety and making transportation more equitable while fighting climate change & creating jobs.

Important to remember where the lines are drawn.
147 Congressional Republicans voted to overturn 2020 election results after insurrection
0 Congressional Republicans voted for covid relief after 500,000 dead
When I took office, I promised help was on the way. Thanks to @SenSchumer and Senate Democrats, we've taken one more giant step forward in delivering on that promise.
I hope the American Rescue Plan receives a quick passage in the House so it can be sent to my desk to be signed.
Good News: COVID Bill Advances Without Destructive GOP Amendments https://coconinodemocrats.org/good-news-covid-bill-advances-without-destructive-gop-amendments/2021/03/06/
On this day in 1857, the U.S. Supreme Court issued the Dred Scott decision ruling that African-Americans were not citizens and were not protected by the Constitution. Let us remember the Supreme Court has often got it wrong, and perpetuated injustice and inequality.
@SenatorSinema This behavior is unprofessional. 35% of Apache County families are living below the poverty line and are struggling to make ends meet. Our communities and families need a livable minimum wage now. https://twitter.com/sawyerhackett/status/1367917179656617986
