Ask the Biden-Harris Administration to strengthen DACA and protect undocumented families before its too late! The MAGA Republican playbook, Project 2025, outlines how far-right extremists plan to roll back immigrant rights. These include: 1) Mass family separation, 2) Weakening DACA by eliminating the staff need to process DACA applications, 3) Eliminating sanctuary states by denying federal funding if states don’t comply with federal insistence on sharing critical immigrant information, 4) Mass deportation by creating an extensive national police network to conduct mass deportation and detention. The Biden-Harris Administration can support DACA and undocumented families by: 1) Strengthening the family immigration system through clearing visa backlogs, 2) Providing legal pathways for caregivers, 3) Protecting DACA recipients by allowing them to apply for legal status without penalties, 4) Expanding Temporary Protected Status (TPS) to include more people from El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Venezuela, 5) Extending deferred enforced departure (DED) and protect more individuals from deportation. Ask the Biden-Harris administration to use every tool at is disposal to strengthen DACA and provide protection to undocumented people!
Demand our Senators protect public lands and oppose Republican attacks! Mere months ago, we celebrated a series of major conservation wins for public lands. These included the BLM Public Lands Rule, the BLM Oil and Gas Rule, the BLM Western Arctic Management Rule and the CEQ National Environmental Policy Act Phase 2 Rule. These rules, together build a holistic approach to conserving public lands while embracing their potential to help create a clean energy economy. Republicans are attempting to use the Congressional Review Act (CRA) to overturn these rules. The CRA is often used at potential changes in Presidential leadership to eliminate rules of a former administration. For example, Trump signed over 13 CRA’s to overturn various Obama era rules. If these attacks pass, the damage to public lands and the communities that rely upon them would be catastrophic. Ask our Senators to take a stand and vote NO on these CRA attacks!
