Last week the Senate Judiciary Committee — on a party-line vote — recommended the confirmation of Brent J. Talley as a federal district judge. This is a trial court position requiring (at least in the past) competency in both civil and criminal trial work. Talley has NEVER tried a case. He has only been a lawyer for three years. His only qualification seems to be that he is a rabid anti-Hillary blogger. The American Bar Association found him unqualified.
Imagine your federal case assigned to Brent Talley.
This Trump appointment now goes to the full Senate for a confirmation vote. Contact Senators McCain and Flake to tell them to vote “No.”
