We’re not going to attempt to summarize all 448 pages (some of which are still not public). But we’ll post a few key takeaways, starting with this:
“The Russian government interfered in the 2016 Presidential election in a sweeping and systemic fashion.”
Mueller Report, Vol. 1, p. 1.
The Russian government did NOT just “make an effort” to interfere as AG Barr lied in his press conference this morning. It INTERFERED – period.
The Russian interference began with “boots on the ground” in 2014 and, by 2015, focused its work on the goal of electing Trump.
The FBI, under the Obama Administration, opened an investigation in July 2016, released public statements about the interference before the election, and imposed sanctions on Russia in early December 2016 after the election.
Mike Flynn, then Trump’s soon to be National Security Advisor, called Russia and told them not to sweat the sanctions — that Trump would take care of them after his inauguration. Russia decided not to retaliate because of Flynn’s contact.

Not in the report, because its not in the scope of the Special Counsel’s charge: Since Trump took over, nothing has been done to stop Russian from interfering in the next election. So far, Republicans in Congress have thwarted attempts to protect our electoral system.
Rather than believe the professional intelligence community which confirms Mueller’s findings, Trump has said he believes the Russian president’s denials.
