New Faces and Experienced Hands Will Lead the
Coconino County Democratic Party for the Next Two Years
Flagstaff, AZ, January 14, 2016 – The Coconino County Democratic Party elected new officers at its biennial reorganization meeting. Leading the party for the next two years will be:
Nathan Jones, Chair
Harriet Young, First Vice Chair
Sallie Kladnik, Second Vice Chair
Cathy Fine, Secretary
Glenn Hoge, Treasurer
Chair Nathan Jones said, “I am honored and humbled to have been asked to serve Democrats in Coconino County as we pursue a progressive agenda to promote a platform that is fundamentally about that most American of values: equality of opportunity and equal protection of law for all. Whether we are at the voting booth or accessing healthcare, seeking a job or a high-quality and affordable education for ourselves and our children, we are all in this together. It is equality and diversity of perspective, culture and belief that truly make this country great. I welcome anyone to join us, and for that matter to teach us how we can do it better. I am already grateful for all those I will have the opportunity to learn from in the term ahead.”
The new Executive Committee appointed the following volunteers to help reorganize the County Party: Tom Scholes, Director of Precinct Committee Operations, and Ann Heitland, Communications Chair.
The Coconino County Democratic Party is one of the 15 county organizations of the Arizona Democratic Party (ADP). The ADP is an arm of the National Democratic Party. Our mission is to elect Democrats who will work hard to protect the American Dream, the American Worker, and the Future of Our Children.
