On Thursday, June 13, we were honored to host Arizona Democratic House Leader Charlene Fernandez, House Co-Whip Athena Salman, and Senator Jamescita Peshlakai (LD-7) for a public town hall at Coconino High School. The group explained the 2020 budget as passed by the Arizona Legislature in the session which just closed — and how the Democrats’ proposals would have made huge differences for education, criminal justice, and other key issues.
