Ask our Members of Congress to pass the PFAS Action Act!! PFAS “forever” chemicals don’t break down or disappear. They can be found in almost everything – food, firefighting foam, non-stick pans, and stain resistant fabrics. More and more studies are uncovering PFAS’s health risks, including cancers, and immune and reproductive system harm. The PFAS Action Act would: a) set clear definitions and deadlines leading to regulating PFAS’s in drinking water, b) would require the EPA to limit industrial discharge of PFAS’s, c) would provide $200 million a year for wastewater treatment, d) would require PFAS health testing, and e) would list PFAS as hazardous air pollutants. Demand our representatives pass this much needed act!!
