Nineteen of the candidates participating in July will be the same as in June. Rep. Eric Swalwell with from the race, leaving one spot open on stage which has been filled by Montana Governor Steve Bullock based on his success in the polls compared with the remaining candidates who didn’t make the cut.
Again, the debate will be divided into two nights — July 30 and 31. Last evening, CNN conducted a live, on-air drawing to see who would be on each night. Here’s the lineup:
The drawing was conducted in three stages which divided the candidates into tiers based on their standing in the polls. The last group to be drawn consisted of the top four: Biden, Harris, Sanders, Warren.
