This week, the Trump Administration is again proving that it’s “pro-life” until after the person is out of the womb.
The Trump administration is proposing bumping 3.1 million people off of food stamps (about 8 percent of the total program) through the federal rule-making process. In other words, by Presidential fiat instead of through the Constitutionally-mandated legislative process. But, apart from the scandal of undermining the founders’ intent, this action is another example of the Administration’s downright cruelty. Vox has the details.
On another front, Trump’s Department of Justice announced today that it was going to start killing federal prisoners, repealing a moratorium that’s been in effect since the second year of the George W. Bush Administration.
