In November 2018, over 220,000 Arizonans cast their ballot by delivering their mail-in ballot to their polling location instead of a mailbox. Now the Republicans in the Arizona Legislature want to change the law to require that all ballots delivered to a voter by mail must be returned to election offices by mail — no more hand delivery to polling places or election offices. This is Senate Bill 1046.
Maricopa County Recorder Adrian Fontes has started a petition against this bill. Sign the petition here.
