A. Demand Senator Mitch McConnell DO SOMETHING to stop Senator Tuberville’s
tantrum over DOD (Department of Defense) policy covering travel expenses for
service members seeking abortions! Senator Tuberville, Alabama, has blocked over 300
military promotions so far. Our military will continue to operate but this single
Senator’s tantrum is costing servicemembers and their families. People are taking on
work they are not compensated for, it will impact their retirement benefits, and its
created financial and logistical burdens for troops’ families. Senator McConnell can
threaten to remove Tuberville from Senate committees, he can push big donors to cut
off donations, he can work with Democrats to get rid of this terrible rule in the Senate
that allows a single Senator to hold up the whole body!! Senator Tuberville has stalled
all high-level military promotions since February to protest the Pentagon’s new
reproductive health policies. Tuberville is playing games with our national security and
the well-being of our troops. Demand Senator McConnell DO SOMETHING to halt
Tuberville’s destruction of our Armed Services ASAP!!
B. Summit your comments to the ATF in support of a potential regulation that would
close the loophole to expand background checks on sales of guns on line and at gun
shows!!! The regulation would expand background checks to guns offered for sale
online or at gun shows, keep weapons out of the hands of dangerous people, and
ultimately save lives. It’s common sense and closes loopholes that people have used to

C. Urge President Biden to exercise his authority and fire Louis Dejoy as Postmaster
General! Dejoy was appointed Postmaster General by Trump in 2018. He has
continued to privatize the postal service, cut postal worker staffing by 30 million hours
just this year, dramatically reduced wages for two thirds of rural mail carriers, mail
prices have gone up and delivery has slowed down!! President Biden can appoint two
new people to the Postal Board of Governors who are committed to a strong USPS,
worker safety, effective mail delivery. These new appointees can work with the rest of
the Board to fire Dejoy ASAP!! Ask President Biden to act to get rid of Louis Dejoy
ASAP!!
