The Budget bills have arrived and they are worse than we
ever thought. Use RTS to OPPOSE all these bills:
HB 2841, HB 2842, HB 2843, HB 2844, HB 2845, HB 2846, HB
2847, HB 2848, HB 2849, HB 2850, HB 2851, HB 2852, HB 2853,
HB 2854, HB 2855, HB 2856, HB 2857, HB 2858, HB 2859, HB
2860, HB 2861, HB 2862, HB 2863, HB 2864, HB 2865, HB 2866,
HB 2867, HB 2868, HB 2869, HB 2870, HB 2871, HB 2872
AND:
SB 1722, SB 1723, SB 1724, SB 1725, SB 1726, SB 1727, SB
1728, SB 1729, SB 1730, SB 1731, SB 1732, SB 1733, SB 1734,
SB 1735, SB 1736, SB 1737, SB 1738, SB 1739
Also, use RTS to OPPOSE HB 2233 – which is the former school
takeover bill and HCR 2015 which would require a 60%
majority to approve ballot initiatives.
As part of these terrible budget bills are those that might
tempt our Democratic representatives since they support
some of our priorities. This is an effort to buy Democratic
votes to support the budget. Call or email our Democratic
representatives to have them resist that temptation!!
Finally, the Education expanded voucher bills are still alive so
remember to thank those representatives who support Public
Education as listed above.
