Sylvia Allen Votes To Cut School Funding

Senator Sylvia Allen Needs to Go.  Democrat Nikki Bagley nearly unseated her in 2016 and the Coconino County Democrats can’t wait to take a run at Allen again in 2018. This week, she’s voted to cut $211 Million from Arizona schools.

Legislators aiming to CUT $211 million from Arizona’s schools?

Voting yes to bring the SB 1174 to the Senate Floor were Senator Allen and her Republican comrades Steve Montenegro of Litchfield Park, Warren Petersen of Gilbert, Steve Smith of Maricopa, John Kavanagh of Fountain Hills, and Debbie Lesko of Peoria.

Voting to protect the school funding were all the Democrats on the Senate Appropriations Committee: Olivia Cajero Bedford of Tucson, Steve Farley of Tucson, Katie Hobbs of Phoenix and Martin Quezada of Phoenix.

We will remember in 2018.
